MOTU have announced that Digital Performer is now available as a Universal application for Mac OS X version 10.4 'Tiger'. This means the application has been ported to work seamlessly with both Power PC and Intel-based Macs.
Jim Cooper, MOTU's Vice President of Marketing told us, "Digital Performer delivers unrivaled audio workstation features, from its six included virtual instruments to its unique visual cueing features for film and TV composers. By bringing DP to the Intel Mac, we can maintain Digital Performer's leading role in audio workstation technology."

We’re thrilled MOTU is now shipping a Universal version of Digital Performer so audio professionals can take advantage of the excellent performance of Intel-based Macs.�
This maintenance update, provided as a Universal application, can be installed on any Intel-based or Power PC Mac and provides numerous code enhancements and optimizations.
