On June 22, B.B. King’s Blues Club in New York will be a synthesizer fan’s heaven. Some of the world’s most renowned keyboardists will take the stage to honor Bob Moog at the 3rd Annual Moogfest.
The all-star cast for this celebration, which begins at 7:30 p.m., includes Keith Emerson, The School of Rock, DJ Logic, Roger O’Donnell (The Cure) Jordan Rudess (Dream Theatre), The Mahavishnu Project, and Jan Hammer, performing for the first time in the U.S. since 1991. During the event, Moog Music will present a lifetime achievement award to an artist who is recognized as having expressed their unique artistry through their Moog instrument.
