Behringer have announced the launch of the iAXE393 USB Guitar Workstation – a USB Guitar for the Mac and PC with amp sounds in software
The iAXE393 USB guitar features a 22-fret maple neck, chrome machine heads, 3 single-coil pickups with 5-way switching and a vintage vibrato bridge. It comes with a stereo headphone output with dedicated level control and the included software allowing jamming with guitar amps and stomp boxes. The software also plays MP3, WAV and AAC audio files, and allows variable-speed playback for learning songs and practicing.
No power supply is required for the USB bus-powered guitar. It can be plugged directly into the computer (Mac or PC) for instant access to popular recording software like GarageBand, Logic or Cubase or to guitar amp/effects programs.
The package comes complete with a USB cable, adjustable guitar strap, three picks and padded gig bag, and WDM and ASIO drivers. Free audio recording/editing software is available for downloading from the Behringer website.
