Known as a 2-channel, 60-watt, 1x12 workhorse combo, Tech 21 tell us that their popular Trademark 60 is now available in additional configurations. There’s a 2x12 with the option of highly efficient, lightweight Celestion Century neodymium speakers or Celestion Seventy80 speakers currently being used in the 1x12 amp and there’s also a 4x10 combo, with custom-designed Eminence speakers. Each version offers greater depth while maintaining the Tech 21 “Trademark sound.
The Trademark 60 uses Tech21’s 100% analog SansAmp circuitry offering tube amp sounds from vintage to modern with the flexibility to create your own custom sounds as well. With the Sansamp circuitry, the amp can be run direct to the mixer of a recorder or PA system.
The Master Section has Low and High EQ controls, and each channel has its own midrange. Master Boost and Reverb are accessible via the footswitch individually or in tandem by engaging the Link button. For solos, in particular, this unique feature increases the volume and, simultaneously, increases ‘the size’ of the sound.
The included triple-function footswitch simplifies life by utilizing any standard 1/4 instrument or speaker cable. The Boost function expands the amp’s capability by increasing each channel’s output level up to 9dB, yielding 4 footswitchable sound options. Other features include XLR Direct Output, top-of-the-line Accutronics 6-spring reverb, Effect Loop, and Headphone Output.
