After several months of tweaking and refining – you may remember we first saw Brass at this years Musik MESSE, the finished version is now shipping. The collaboration sees Arturias progamming nowse and Ircams physical modeling technology coming together to produce this standalone or plug-in aimed solely at emulating brass instruments. Trumpet, trombone, saxaphone are all modeled and incorporates playable instrument models with a large collection of predefined phrases to help make your BRASS sound particularly authentic. BRASS is a new kind of virtual instrument: a software recreation of the trumpet, saxophone, and trombone. This software allows you to play instruments like a professional performer would do: same control, flexibility, and expressiveness (without the years of training it takes to do so).
