I won’t go into all of the details of the new Korg TR again (you can find them here), but since it was announced last week, it’s proven to be one of our more popular news items. So it’s a good job that we managed to collar a product specialist and a pair of hands to run us through some of the new sounds and capture it all on tape for posterity. Just to recap, the new TR feaures twice the wave memory of the original and extremely popular Triton workstation, plus many new sounds of it’s own. The TR also has a sampling option to keep you roll-your-own fiends happy. Also featuring a 16-track sequencer, FX (insert and master) USB and an SD card slot for storage up to 1GB. It comes in two flavours 61 and 76 keys. The 61 key retails at £825 UKP
