Line 6 have announce two new additions to their Tonecore range of modelling stompboxes – the Dr. Distorto and Otto Filter. Dr. Distorto features simple yet versatile Level, Tone and Drive controls that deliver classic, singing lead-type distortion tones. Unique to Dr. Distorto is the ability to achieve incredible sustain at any distortion level using the innovative harmonic feedback circuit with Rise, Fall, and Blend controls, plus selectable Off, Sustain, and Octave options. Dr. Distorto also features a built-in noise gate with selectable Off, Mild, and Clamp settings.

Otto Filter delivers a cornucopia of auto wah filter effects with Sensitivity, Range and Peak knobs for simple, yet versatile filter shaping control. There are Band Pass (state variable), Low Pass (ladder), and custom Line 6 Twin Filter models, plus a selectable Up/Down switch that brings ultra-funky and experimental sounds to any pedal board. Both pedals can be powered by a standard 9 Volt battery, or optional DC-1 power supply. More info:
