Roland broadens its audio product line with the introduction of three new quality microphones — two for the stage, one for the studio. Going (in price order) from the DR-30 through the DR-50 to the large diaphragm DR-80C. The affordable DR-30 is ideal for amateurs and karaoke enthusiasts, while the high-end DR-50 and DR-80C are designed for professional singers and recording applications. The DR-80C is a large-diaphragm studio mic (26mm diameter) that exhibits high-quality sound characteristics with low noise. It’s built to handle high input levels and a wide dynamic range. A Low-Cut switch is provided for eliminating undesired low frequencies. The Pad switch allows high-input adjustment. A dedicated shock-mount holder is included. The DR-30 is a handheld cardioid mic with shock-absorption for reducing handling noise. Its Silent-Switch design reduces power on/off pop; its power-switch lock prevents unintended operation. The DR-50 is hyper-cardioid handheld mic with enhanced shock-absorption for unit protection and reduced handling noise. Its double-screen structure minimizes breath noise. More details at:
