This isn’t a new thing though, last year there were many excited whisperers about an Apple audio interface but all we got was Logic Pro 7 – pah! (actually, it was a pretty darned good release). This year the rumours have grown in strength, according to our sources, the Apple iPod department have something planned to enhance the Garageband experience. We’re told has it’s a bus powered FireWire 400 interface with combination Mic/Line connectors, phono and headphones. Details are of course sketchy due to Apples strict 30 days before release news embargo. However, seeing that it’s less than that to the NAMM show, one has to wonder..... We’ll keep an eye out at the NAMM show for you..
