The two companies are working together, as outlined in their strategic
alliance (announced at the MESSE), to put this 11 date promo tour on the
road, it’s purpose being to show just how nifty the new Cubase SX3 and
Yamaha’s Studio Connection initiative really are.
Product specialists will be on hand, demonstrating the power of an integrated soft and hard system for studio production.
This tour is part of the ongoing commitment annouced at MESSE, to the Studio Connections initiative, with both companies developing Open Standards for the integration of hardware and software. Bryan Borcherds, from Steinberg’s UK distributors Arbiter, added: “ This is an exciting partnership which points towards a future of seamless software, hardware and MIDI integration.”
The shows will be hosted by both Yamaha and Steinberg product specialists
with guest presenters. After each presentation there will be an opportunity
to talk to company representatives and other users whilst evaluating the
latest hardware and software developments .
Yamaha’s Peter Peck told us “ These informative and entertaining events
will be a unique opportunity for visitors to experience the optimum
performance that can be achieved through effective integration of these
technologies and provide an invaluable insight into how they can be
creatively applied to their own set–ups whilst at the same time offering the
opportunity for existing users to meet the experts, ask questions and find
out more about the potential of their systems.”
