As usual, there were many new releases from Behringer, frankly we'd be surprised if they ever released less than ten at any show, such is the pace of their expansion. Many products were guitar oriented, but one that did catch our attention was this new 48-point, fully balanced patchbay in 1-U of rackspace. The new PX3000 features fully balanced, high-quality 1/4" TRS connectors and three selectable modes per channel via top-side switches. The PX3000 is expected to ship in the third quarter 2004. "NORMAL" inserts interconnect the two rear jacks of one channel, while inserting a plug into one of the front jacks interrupts the connection of the rear jacks. "THRU" facilitates connection of each rear connector with its corresponding front connector. "HALF NORMAL" interconnects the two rear jacks of one channel and inserting a plug into the lower front connector interrupts the connection of the rear connectors. Like all BEHRINGER products, it's pretty competitively prices - ok, it's a snip at $69.99
