The new Tascam SX-1LE is a based on the acclaimed SX-1 and provides professional features like 16-track 24-bit recording, 40-input surround mixing, touch-sensitive moving faders, a VGA output and 128-track MIDI sequencing for an estimated street price under $3,000 (RRP $3750). “The SX-1LE is the first truly professional integrated workstation under $3,000,” says Jim Bailey, TASCAM Product Specialist. “Pro features like 16 mic pres, a dedicated 6-track stem recorder, 128-track sequencing and flexible waveform editing put the SX-1LE into the class of pro studio equipment, but with an ease-of-use that musicians can appreciate.” With a price low enough for home recording, and a feature set to satisfy the most discriminating studio owner, the SX-1LE is ready for the most ambitious projects. Its intuitive design makes it more than the sum of its parts, yet each feature is professional grade:
