Akai Professional - full steam ahead

Due to recent restructuring and changes in distribution, Akai's profile has been a little lower key than usual, leading to a number of assumptions about the status of the company. These assumptions appear to have been totally unfounded, as it appears that Akai are alive and kicking with a new distribution network in the US and the UK . Updates for the Z4/8, their flagship workstation MPC4000, DPS24 and ak.Sys are all in development by the top boffins at R+D in Japan and the UK as no doubt, are many new products. The new US distribution network aims to bring better service and more gear in more stores all over the country. There's also a new website, with the full lowdown on the current range, designed to be easier to navigate with quick access to the latest OS versions.
