SNAMM03: Video Kaoss with Entrancer
Video and sound gets the Kaoss treatment

In an interesting shift towards video, the new Kaoss Entrancer gives the VJ (there are people out there who are) video effects in addition to the audio processing we’ve come to love from the original Kaoss range. The Entrancer has two switchable video inputs, either RCA (composite) or S-Video format and applies it’s internal video effects.messes about with it. The resulting video can be output as composite or S-Video to feed a projector or video recorder. It is also possible to sample 6 seconds of video to use as an overlay for a variety of effects. Expected to ship late this year, the Entrancer is likely to make an ideal partner for the original Kaoss pad in a VJ setup. Pricing and availability TBC.
