Decision to deliver more TC products for computer recording (Hamburg/Denmark) The recording markets have changed rapidly in the last couple of years, with the computer assuming the key role in most production environments. In order to recognize this integration trend, TC GROUP has decided to underline its dedication to this market by combining the TC WORKS and TC Electronic brands and assigning the main brand TC Electronic to this market segment. As a consequence, POWERCORE and future TC WORKS products will be marketed under TC ELECTRONIC, with TC WORKS maintaining its key role as technology and product development team. Ralf Schluenzen, CEO of TC WORKS states: "TC WORKS has always been a TC company, it doesn't really change anything for our customers. But we were taking care of the computer channel on our own. This step will allow us to address market needs much faster and with even more resources. The joined forces allow us to integrate the best of both worlds hardware and software and market the products more efficiently. At Frankfurt Messe, we will present the first new product along these lines, and anyone that sees the product will instantly understand our rebranding motivation.” "The accelerating convergence of technologies makes it ever more confusing and difficult to separate the hardware and software markets," says Anders Fauerskov, Group CEO of parent company TC GROUP. "With this step we want to simplify the message to the market, and show TC's dedication to computer-based recording. We will be able to take advantage of the unique software and hardware capabilities within TC, and are looking forward to presenting innovative integrated solutions". All new products and joint projects developed by TC WORKS and TC Electronic will be marketed under the TC Electronic brand name, while existing ones will be rebranded over time. The development and management resources will remain at TC WORKS headquarters in Hamburg, while all distribution, support and marketing will be transferred to Denmark, the headquarters of TC Electronic effective March 1st. As a consequence, distribution in all European countries will be taken over by the local TC Electronic distribution over the pass of this year. TC WORKS and TC Electronic will present more details and news at Frankfurt Messe in March.
