Korg USA, Inc. has been appointed the exclusive U.S. distributor for the full line of Vestax products commencing January 16, 2003. The announcement was made by Korg USA President, Mike Kovins, and Vestax Senior Managing Director, Matt Shiomi. Founded in 1977, Vestax is a long-term leader in the DJ products market with a history of original, innovative product design and a reputation for strict adherence to the highest quality standards. All marketing, distribution, sales, and support functions for Vestax in the United States will be based at Korg USA’s Melville, New York headquarters. Korg USA’s District Sales Managers will sell and support all Vestax products. Commenting on the appointment, Mike Kovins said, “Vestax has been a leader in the market for the past 25 years and its extensive product line will complement the existing array of Korg products currently in the DJ market. Our appointment as exclusive USA distributor will help ensure the ongoing growth of Vestax as well as Korg USA.” Matt Shiomi stated, “ We believe Korg USA is a strong distributor in the U.S. market that will be able to increase our market share and the brand recognition of Vestax. The synergy our two companies have will produce new and innovative products for the musical instrument/DJ markets.”
