You can't have been surprised, Reason V2.0 was launched at the Messe with a suite of new modules including:
  • Maelstrom an all new polyphonic 'Graintable' synthesizer -it's a cross between Wavetable and Granular synthesis.
  • NN-XT - an Advanced sampler with "Deep sampling without the confusing sub menus" with nifty features such as auto-pitch detection.
  • Extra sample libraries
  • Fully 32-bit internal structure
  • Beat syncable LFOs all round
  • Detachable sequencer window avoiding those multi-screen setups
  • Mac OSX support.
  • Windows mouse scroll wheel compatability Expected to ship at the end of April 2002. Reason 1.0 users will be able to upgrade for $89/99euros- stay tuned for more info.
