25 years, who'd have thought it eh? Roland are celebrating the birthday of the their number one son the BOSS brand by releasing a collection of pedals. First up:

RC-20 Loop Station
This appears to be a performance based sampler/sound on sound echo unit in the Lexicon Jam Man mold. Boasting up to 5 minutes of recording time and non-volatile ram it can store up to 10 loops. Other noteworthy features are sample reverse and a tap tempo function with a difference - it doesn't change the pitch - so you can perform real-time timestretching.

GP-20 Amp Factory

This 24 bit pedal features the new COSM modeling technology to be found in a number of other Roland/BOSS products. With 22 kinds of amps plus a speaker cab simulator this could just be what the doctor ordered. But the best part of this pedal is the SPDIF digital out for easy integration into the digital studio.

ME-33 Guitar Multiple Effects

Again aimed at the guitarist, this multi fx can chain up to 9 fx for that monster riffin'. Also featuring the COSM amp and feedback modelling technology it with lots of knobs and a couple of pedals it should give plenty of control while you wig out.

EQ-20

A new graphic EQ pedal with memories. 10 band, fully programmable with 9 memories.
