Version 2.0 brings 24-bit support and zero latency monitoring for real time recording. The package comprises of the PCI ADAT card and Version 2.0 ADAT/EDIT which was co-developed by Alesis and Emagic.
The software imports and exports AIFF, SDII and WAV files and enables control of the transport via ADAT Synchronization. Editing tools include cut, copy, paste and reverse. Advanced digital signal processing features in the program provide reverb, delay, EQ, time compress/expand, pitch correct, normalize, gain change, removal of DC offset and sample rate conversion. ADAT/EDIT software also supports MIDI sequencing for recording, editing and playing MIDI data within the same program.
