Ever wanted a copy of Steinberg's Recycle, but were too broke/stingy to shell out for the fairly steep price tag? Well, to the best of my knowledge, Squarecircle does everything that Recycle does, starting at 1/10th of the price! This program is fast, simple, and very powerful, allowing the user to extract loops from an audio source often within seconds. With the advanced version of this software, the user can then dump the individual beats as seperate files to their sampler along with a MIDI file which will allow the sampler to play back the loop flawlessly. From there, the user can alter the pattern, replace beats, or use those beats in future loops and experiments into the wonderful world of sound. There is even a usable evaluation version of this program at the website

Good Points
Grabs loops from audio quickly and easily. Same features as Steinberg's Recycle for a lot less! Dumps to sampler.
Bad Points
None that I've found yet.
