Exceptionaly high quality Audio interface card for Firewire based Macs and PCs. Supporting 8 independant inputs and 8 independant outputs + 2 Digital iputs and 2 digital outputs. 2 of the inputs have preamps (which are very clean!) and also provide phantom power for Condenser Mics
|
Good Points Huge number of inputs. Very low latency, allows me to use Reason 2.5 as a live softsynth. Exceptional quality audio. Can be powered by the Firewire port on your computer (if it's a 6 wire port). Stable Drivers. Makes my Soft synths sound like my real Roland synths Bad Points Recording at 16bits introduces aliasing, so you have to use 24bit. The Drivers are VERY minimal, with very few options. |
