There once was a synth called the DX7 by Yamaha it came out in 1983 it was like no other synth ever. Now in 2002 the great digital power of this synth is recrreated in NI's FM7. THIS TIME AROUND THE INTERFACE IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL, EASY TO NAVIGATE. there are seven operators {A-F}(oscillators) plus, Buttons x and Y that abd moru live to a pach by addinf filtration and modulation not found on the DX7. the FM7 also ads effects. one important thing to keep in mind is the fact that this VSTi has a 32 bit quality code to ensure satisfaction of modern computing.

If you dont feell like programing, the Web offers Millions of presets (patches) just write in your favorite search engine dx7 and lots of pages will turn out.

If you do get this software with the intent of making your own voices a little theory on FM programming can be found on the Web.
