Active bi-amped nearfield monitors which can operate at -10 or +4 levels with a screwdriver adjustable sensitivity control to match levels. The low end is covered by a 70 watt amp driving a 6.5" polypropylene driver, top end has a 1" silk dome tweeter with a 30W amp and there is a port for increased bass response.

Good Points
PS6's are a compact size (12.5 x 10 x 8.25") so can be easily placed in a small studio, they are also shielded so can be used next to computer monitors. Good depth of field. The sound is punchy and bright with an enhanced midrange presence that helps clarity.
Bad Points
Sensitivity control makes it a little difficult to match one speakers sensitivity level to the other.
