Terratec has been making good cards from the beginning on. But they seem to have an absolute winner on their hands now. This is just a Multitrack card so don't expect fancy synths/sample functions built in. It's got a very good sound quality and plenty of I/O's and they all go up to 24bits/96kHz (except for the monitor output). AD/DA is external so no processor interference here, and the internal operation is 32 bits (meaning that the processor isn't stressed as much as with 16 or 20 bits). The control panel is very easy to use.

Good Points
Good points are that you get good value for your money. 10ins and outs (2digital) that are 24bit. Also you get Micrologic which is a very basic but good sequencer to start with. Also you get a copy of Samplitude. Good points also is that the latency is pretty good with the ASIO drivers. I've gotten up to 8ms without any problems.
Bad Points
Bad points are perhaps that you can't hook up the great Microwave PC onto it, but they are working on something to add to the EWS88MT. It has given me some problems on running different programs at the same time that use audio. The system did lock up on me, but that might have been my fault.
