This should be the mother of all standalone trackers, I love mine although it can use some OS work... see my full review on the AW user's site http://www.socialentropy.com/aw4416 If you work in the yamaha frame of mind, this is the best thing since sliced bread.

Good Points awesome sound quality, great mixer, effects are good, good *potential*, optional upgrades, built in CDRW, nice display, well-built. Bad Points many aspects of the OS still need some work, hopefully they will be addressed in OS upgrades. In particular the track editing needs to have more features (multiple track select), the sampling pads need alot more features to be of much use, and there is NO midi implementation at this point except for syncing and a few effects controls. has a fan (fairly quiet) |
