It's got balls, attitude and power, it also has that magic ingredient where you can come up with very interesting sounds by accident. Even if you've already got something like Reaktor you'll still get another dimension of sounds from this software.

Great soft-synth!

Lots of the presets made me think, where have I heard this before...oh yeah Wavestation patches copied the original PPG presets :) But the raw sound itself sounds much better here!

It does sound digital, but in a nice way, like FM synths, but with less balls and more character. The filter on this soft-synth does remind me of my Juno106 filter. Ok not as analog with the resonance, but the basic tone made me think Jun106, and that's a good thing! :)

It sounds good by itself, and even better layered with a Wavetstation! Does seem to lack top end harmonics though, although its bright...if that makes sense :)

The only I hate about it is the horrid interface! OK the original was hard to program, and Waldorf had to copy it... arghhh, I would prefer a less flashy, straight foward bunch of sliders and toggles on one screen.

I got tons of song ideas, just by playing with the presets! Great

This is the first time I have a software synth in the same league as my hardware synths. This is also the first time I have shown interest in another synthesis method other than analog. Most bang for your bucks!

Oh my dog. The PPG's filter is the nice soft filter I have ever heard. It's not priced too expensive for what it does and how it SOUNDS either. It's become my favorite soft synths and I never even liked wavetable synthesis.
