Its just like the man said (Neil) it is a great wee programme but I dont Know if I can take it much longer. It is soooooo limited.
You can,t play wave files the sound editing is a joke (i use XGDIT with an MU10) and yiu realise you limitations after about 6 months!
I am 'moving on up' to vst in 1 month or so (thank god) but dont get me wrong. I love this little programme, it was with me from the beginning and taught me well. So if you are just starting out in sequencing I will give you 2 tips:
1. Buy Cubasis 2. Visit my web site and try the sequencing addicts club! (http://i.am/infant
i give 10/10 cos it does exactly what it said on the box

Well, I've been using it for a few years now, and I still haven't made my mind up. On the plus side, its very quick, on the minus side it has no swing quantise, has a weird Atari-ish un-windowsy user interface, the edit screens zoom in precisely the wrong sized steps (on an 800x600 screen, anyway), it uses short file names and freezes now and again. But, like I say, its *so* quick to use, even on my beleagured P120, that moving to anything else seems like too much hassle, and the shiny new copy of Cakewalk 8 is sat there gathering dust...
