this is a nice little box, everything works pretty much as expected. dubtheorists review sums things up nicely, i was just chiming in to say that if your having problems with the usb driver for windows that the asio4all universial drivers work very well with this unit so even if event drops support for the ezbus you will still be able to get a decent up to date driver for it.

I purchased the EZBUS. I was pretty new to home recording and it was relatively easy to get going. I use a combination of XING/TONOS recording interface through the EZBUS. I have a problem with volume though. Cakewalk seems to export the files a lot stronger, but cakewalk isn't what I'd call user friendly. Love the phantom power on board. I run it through a P4 3.06GHZ compaq. Upgraded ram up to 1GB.

i'm a novice with using recording equipment. i installed the EZBUS software fine, but i don't know how to interface a recording program with the EZbus.

Tried following the manual, and no luck with the manual.

Do I need to get separate recording software and how do I let the software and ezbus communicate to each other?

must have basic step by step instructions, cause i'm dumbfounded. thanks!

Bought it. Great value and ease of use! Sounds great with zero noise from the ultra quite DAC's! Perfect for home or small studio setups. The only complaint is the level input knobs are not linked precisly across the board, but that is fixed by just checking out the audio input meter while you run a base sawtooth through it and then tweek the knobs so the input matches on each channel. But thats all I can think about. The EZ8 ADAT card is great, and of'course it sounds great. This is my main DAC for my studio and I am running all external synths into the ezbs and then into logic. The midi inputs and outputs work with out problems everytime. Very sturd case. And I bought the EZbus over the the Digi 02 because I don't use protools. This is great! Would buy it again if damaged etc.
