Very good product and even better customer service. This unit is relatively easy to use. Plug, record, and play it's just thAT SIMPLE! I was amazed at how good the play back quality was. The Unit itself is a bit flashy with all it's light and bright colors it feels like a toy but it is acctually a very serious unit. It is a powerful weapon in a studio set up. If your addictied to looping don't pass this baby up!

This machine is really a looper's dream machine. Easy to use and does a real magic trick when it comes to syncing loops up to each other. Not sure how I got along without this puppy!!

When the gain structure of your input signal is optimized, the unit is not too noisy (a little bit). The digital output is clean as a whistle. I sold my SP-808 to purchase this unit and do not regret it. It is truly a revolution in realtime looping. I have yet to begin experimenting with the extremely deep MIDI control that this unit is capable of. The update supposedly will fix any MIDI syncing issues.

Noisy outputs. Lousy MIDI sync. BUT I LOVE IT! Press record, lay down a drum track (in mono or stereo), hit record again and your loop plays instantly. Arm another track (mono or stereo), hit the overdub button then layer another drum track, press the resample button and mix down your tracks and start over again.

And it doesn't stop there; grab the pitch knob and alter the pitch in real time. Save your loops as .WAVs to the included compact flash card and export them to the computer for further tweaking. The list goes on.

But there are drawbacks: MIDI sync rots and the outputs are noisy (though the noise is covered up by your loops). Luckily, the OS is stored in flash memory, so an update is already in the works.

This is revolutionary stuff...
