I have spent well over 3000 hours in front of Fruity.

I have had everyone from major record labels to other musicians tell me that the productions sound very polished and up there if not better than a lot of commercial released material.

A poor craftsman will blame his tools.

Fruity has the ability to be whatever you want it to be. Also it provides the quickest way for me to get ideas out. These days I mainly use it for beat/loop creation, but without this program I would not be where I am now. Im sure Cubase was thought to have a pretty stupid name when it was new too!

I have been using Fruity Loops (agreed it is a stupid name for a great program) for about 4 years since version 1.something and have used it to create entire albums of ambient lo-fi beats. Just cos it looks like a 'techno' composition software means absolute bollocks. If you have time and imagination, it can do anything. Beat slicer is an incredible piece of software that I use everyday. And for live use, nothing comes close. Get it, Learn it, Enjoy it

OR vice versa. I would like to use them interchangeably. I know that Fruity has to be the master and my external sequencer will be the slave. I am not perfectly clear what this means? Any help would be appreciated.

I like the program a lot. I just bought it about a month ago. I am new to FruityLoops, so I had to learn how to use it from scratch(and am still learning), and it seems like a pretty powerful piece of software. I also have a Yamaha RM1X Sequencer. Does anyone know if I can export my loops or sounds into this and use them on the external sequencer?

This is the best software out there. I have version 3.3 and I have to say it's really the best. I use that and cubase. There the only two I need.
