The Software Environment
Having installed the hardware and drivers, the next step is to install the Luna II environment. This was simple and obvious, resulting in a program group on the Start menu and a desktop icon to launch the application.
When the application is first launched, the immediate impression is of the difference in interfaces to the Windows environment. Luna II does not use the standard Windows User Interface, instead CreamWare have implemented their own windowing system, appearing (initially) as a full-screen window. The screen displays a menu bar at the top of the screen, a project window and a file browser. Figure 1 shows the menu and project window. Fig 1
