It's a Pod, it fits in your pocket, hence the name Pocket POD. It can be battery powered, it's packed with features.
Use it for effects in front of your amp, or just plug in headphones and practice wherever you can get to with a guitar. Frankly I cant see why everyone wouldn't want one.

The USB connection allows you to download the free Vytex software so you can get inside it's brains to edit or create custom tones, and of course manage your own presets from on your desktop. If you need more, you can visit CustomTone.com to download any of the 3,000 free presets created by guitarists from around the world.

Ins/outs ??
The headphone jack, CD/MP3 jack so you can jam along. Pocket POD runs off 4 AAA batteries or a 9V DC power plug. It's a mere 5 inches long by 3 1/2 wide and 2 deep, weighs in at a teenie 6 oz.
