NAMM 2014: Wampler Thirty Something PLUS New Prototype Tremolo (Video Demo)

Brian Wampler talks us through the Thirty Something and new prototypes   26-Jan-14

We spoke to Brian Wampler at NAMM 2014 to get a video demo of the new Thirty Something (previously titled the Ace Thirty) - a pedal closely recreating the sound of the Vox AC30 and AC15 amps.

While we were at the booth Brian also gave us a run through of their new prototype Tremolo pedal, which will be available in both a compact stomp and a larger deluxe stomp.

The Ace Thirty will undergo a slight makeover and be renamed the Thirty Something (a better name in my humble opinion), but the innards of the pedal will remain exactly the same.

As usual with Wampler, it's a pedal that sounds like an amp, and offers as much flexibility as possible - given the size of the pedal housing.

The Wampler Thirty Something incorporates a bypass switch and a boost switch, as well as an independent boost volume, two band EQ, a separate top cut EQ, and gain and volume.

Watch the video above for the full low down from Brian Wampler, plus a video demonstration.
