New MIDI sequencer

Decyne4 has released Precyne, which they describe as a new tracker style music making software which has been designed from ground-up for hardware studios. This is what they have to say about it...

Precyne brings major improvements over traditional tracker style workflow by combining it with modern song arrangement features such as linear timeline editing and clip launcher.

You can now dedicate clips for automation purposes to be used in conjunction with clips playing notes on your synthesizers. This enables you to edit and arrange automation data separately from your played notes.

Precyne V1.0 is a MIDI only sequencer. Its user interface and workflow has been designed from ground-up to make your hardware MIDI studio use a breeze:

- Quick and easy way to map your MIDI CCs to pattern commands.
- Intuitive control over your note velocity dynamics
- Single click control over MIDI clock outputs during editing and playback. - Proper SysEx data dump handling per instrument.

Precyne makes flexible use of your audio interface with dedicated audio routing and metering screen. Each physical audio input channel on your audio interface gets its own assignable output and aux send. Additional 8 stereo bus quick select buttons enable quick temporary and permanent changes to your audio signal paths. This gives you an easy and flexible access to your hardware samplers and effects. Switching signals from sampler to sampler and between multiple FX chains is quick and easy and works great also for hardware multitrack recorder use.

Precyne V1.0 is now available for Windows 7 and later platforms. Mac and Linux versions are coming soon.
