The Yamaha YC-61 Stage Keyboard, has its roots in the Reface range - the hands on approach that was probably most apparent in the Reface CP piano. That had an integrated and hands on FX section that took the keyboard into sound design territory. The YC-61 has a lot more to offer in the Stage Keyboard department, with three separate layers that include Pianos, organs and synth sections.

Each has its own VCM insert FX plus there are three global effects.

In this video, Earmonkey Music's Jim Heywood explores the possibilities.
