Spitfire Test iMac Pro Vs Mac Pro For Media Composition

US How far can you go? Christian Henson tries to break it      17/03/18

Media composers are usually a group of people who push their computers to the max, all that orchestral stuff, high quality reverbs etc.

Spitfire's Christian Henson is no stranger to that sort of work, as well as being the head honcho at Spitfire, he's a working composer.

In this test, Christian loads up a session and adds 112 Kontakts, 112 Fab Filter reverbs and  112 Space Designers (Apple's convolution reverb). He is fully aware that this may be considered extreme, even by his standards and that it represents  enough headroom to accommodate future requirements.

An interesting watch. Note, he does drop a single f-bomb.
