Mr Marvin is one of THE great British guitarists, and he was one of the first people in the UK to own a Fender Stratocaster.

He was inspired to pick up the guitar after hearing Buddy Holly, and in turn influenced some of the other guitarists on this list (we'd tell you who they are but we don't want to ruin the list for you).

Get a floppy haircut, a pair of huge NHS glasses, a touch of slap-back, a dash of reverb, mastery of the whammy bar, and you've got Hank Marvin.
