ID Please features rock star judges and multiple amp prizes   04-Apr-14

Blackstar Launches YouTube Contest

Blackstar Amplification has announced the ID Please YouTube contest that invites talented guitarists to show off their most impressive riffs. Guitarists can upload a 30 second original video of their best riff to the Blackstar YouTube channel. The videos will then be judged by four guitar masters: Gus G. from Ozzy Osbourne/Firewind; Mike Spreitzer from DevilDriver; Tommy Henriksen from Alice Cooper; and Brian Bonds of Florida Georgia Line. The grand prize winner will receive an ID:260 as well as the opportunity to join Mike Spreitzer and Brian Bonds for two separate webinar sessions to receive a private guitar lesson. The second place winner will receive an HT-1 signed by Gus G., along with a Pitchblack Poly tuner from Korg. The third place winner will also receive a signed HT-1.

The contest starts April 3rd, 2014 and will conclude April 30th. US residents 18 years and older are eligible to participate. The judges are looking for unique arrangements that grab their attention and will be choosing a winner based on creativity rather than talent. Participants must use their Blackstar ID:Series or ID:Core rig to create a 30 second riff, then save their patch using the Blackstar Insider software, and upload their video. Winners will be announced via email Monday, May 12th, 2014 at 1:00PM EST.
