NAMM 2014: Ashdown PiBass 240 Portable Bass Amp

NAMM 2014 sees the release of the PiBass 240 from Ashdown. This ultra portable 240w bass head is a totally new direction for Ashdown. With no tube in the preamp (a signature trait of Ashdown) and a totally digital power section this little thing is a bargain at $400. Weighing in at a tiny 3lbs (that's about 1.3kg in real money) and with a semi-parametric EQ it's simple to use and easy to move and it still packs a punch with 240 watts from the digital power amp.
