New Online Guitar Show 'Gear Addicts' In Bid For Funding

Gear Addicts aims to be the Top Gear of guitar shows   20-Nov-12

Youtube is a treasure trove for guitarists, full of great reviews of gear, backing tracks, and podcasts. If you look hard enough, you can even find some TV-style shows about guitars and guitar gear (we should know, we made one ourselves).

Gear Addicts is a new Kickstarter project which aims to be almighty overlord of the online guitar TV show, hosted by Jason Burns ('Record at Home') and 'Fluff' (Youtube guitar demonstrator) who both host popular Youtube series in their own right.

The show will be filmed in front of a live audience, and cites influences such as 'That Metal Show', 'Top Gear' and 'The Man Show'. The guys are trying to raise $8500, which they say is going towards giving the show the best production values possible.
