30 years since the release of Jimmy Page's soundtrack to the film, Death Wish II, the album has been re-released on vinyl in a limited-edition format.
Only 1000 copies have been pressed, and you can own one of them by going to the online store on Jimmy Page's website.
The album will feature a previously unreleased track, which is an instrumental version of the film's main theme. It also contains new liner notes, written by Jimmy Page himself.
Page has explained his decision to release the soundtrack again:
“In 1981, Michael Winner asked me if I would compose the soundtrack to Death Wish II. The songs with vocals were only going to appear in the film for a matter of seconds but I had recorded full versions of them anyway — which is how I ended up doing my first soundtrack and soundtrack album. I’ve re-released this because I wanted it to be available again.”
