New PRS Peach Guitars Aged Gold-Top DGT Model

Peach guitars have decided to celebrate their 5th anniversary by working with PRS on a publicly-available aged Private Stock guitar. That's big news for someone who is after a guitar built by Paul Miles, at a lower price than most private stocks.

Here's what John Priest has to say:

"August 2011 brings me into 5 years of ownership of Peach Guitars, i've been involved with the company for the last 13 years on and off and i wanted to mark the occasion with something a little special....

"I've managed to get PRS to make the first ever publicly available 'Aged' guitars, the model is a DGT gold-top, how cool is that! The 'Rich Hannon' special model was perhaps a slight exception but these things are going to be BEAT!

"They're made in the Private Stock but i wanted them to be available at a lower price point and use the regular timbers as per a stock DGT, i've always been a massive fan of that guitar as well as MR Grissoms playing, so for me, we had to base this limited run around a DGT.

"Each guitar is aged by hand by Paul Miles and also signed by David Grissom on a spare electronics cover plate, Paul told me at Namm 2011 that he had made an aged 'Santana' model for the man himself and Carlos was blown away by it, Paul was chomping at the bit to get started on this project, it's a stark contrast to the walls on figured maple he's surround by all day.

"I spoke with DG himself and he told me he wanted to check one out for himself!

"They have original bird inlays and are just like David Grissoms's original guitar but with all the improvements made to his signature model.

"Only 5 will be available ever with each model numbered in the sequence, we could've had more made but i wanted this to be a real investment for the customer, once they're gone, that really is it."

Head over to this link if you're interested in parting with £4,999, only 5 available!
