Fender has announced a range of new limited-run acoustic instruments, including an acoustic guitar, acoustic bass, and a ukelele.
Most exciting of all comes the announcement of the acoustic guitar, which is the first Fender acoustic to be built in the USA this century... (since the 1970s in less sensationalist terms). Only 30 of the beauties are being made, and even at a price of $1999 they'll be in sharp demand, the guitar features a solidwood construction with spruce top, flame maple back, abalone rosette, mother of pearl headstock logo, gold hardware, and a Fishman Sonitone pickup system.
That will probably go quite nicely with the new Acoustasonic amp announced by Fender this week.
