Taking the new Copy/Paste features available in the Apple iPhone software to a new level, Sonoma Wire Works has developed AudioCopy and AudioPaste functionality for the iPhone. This technology has been shared with members of the Mobile Audio Product Interaction (MAPI) Partner Program who are interested in making mobile audio tools work together to create the best user experience. InstantDrummer: Heartbreaker v1.1 is now one of several apps that can copy audio content to paste into the FourTrack 3.0 iPhone App. Users can also now duplicate their arrangements so they can have a copy saved while they make new changes to their sequence. This added flexibility, combined with improved performance and memory fixes, make InstantDrummer an essential tool for your music app collection on your iPhone or iPod touch 2nd Generation.

InstantDrummer for the iPhone and iPod touch 2nd Gen includes professionally recorded, easily customizable drum loops that can be built into drum tracks for songs. Jason McGerr, the drummer for pop-rock band Death Cab for Cutie, recorded Heartbreaker on his signature Ludwig drum kit in his Seattle based studio, Two Sticks Audio. Pick a groove by Jason McGerr, tap in a tempo, and InstantDrummer inspires you to play along with continuously varying drum tracks using perfectly matched, full kit studio drum recordings. Spin the Intensity wheel to set the mood from mellow to aggressive. Use the Variation slider to get a constantly evolving beat. Ambience adds room sound and Gain sets the level. InstantDrummer automatically plays fills on the last bar of a section. No tedious editing or disappointing sounds, just a great drummer, ready to jam. Build drum tracks for songs using the part sequencer, then WiFi sync the WAV files to any computer.
