Soundiron has introduced Hopkin Intrumentarium: Handsome Dan, which they describe as a unique creation from the mind of master instrument builder Bart Hopkin.

They say that this innovative zither features 14 strings with a magnetic pickup and clever system for capturing harmonic resonances in unplayed strings, resulting in a dreamy, ethereal tone that is perfect for creating floating, swelling sounds.
