I'm not sure how one should feel when you enter your fifties, but I dont think I feel any different. However, the schools out fever has rather got to me although I'm not officially on holiday until July 2nd, this it the last broadcast until after the holidays. We should be back around July 19th, all being well. Firstly, I'd like to apologize for the sound quality this week, for some reason, after I installed the latest Skype for Mac, the line quality dropped significantly on participants 4+5 - that being NonEric and Dave Spiers, after much hanging up and recalling, we couldnt solve it so I am sorry, but thems the breaks.. And so, on to this weeks guests: Noneric from Digitalmusician.net and Musotalk.de turns off his aircon to keep the noise down, Dave Spiers is back in GForce software HQ, PJ Tracy is walking on air after his recent night with Hiromi (he went to her gig) and Mark Tinley is in Intel bliss (sort of) with the arival of his spanking new 17 inch CoreDuo MacBook Pro. And Remember, You can still WIN A YAMAHA MM6 Mini MO
That's right, to help us celebrate last weeks 50th, Yamaha UK donated an MM6 Mini Mo, worth $699.95/£355.99 UK - wow!
So, to win yours, either listen to the podcast in it's entirety for the question and the answer, or go to this MM6 competition page.. This week we discuss Marks new laptop and the lost plugins, Broken Drum Machine, how come there aren't many women in the studio or in technical roles? Let your keyring open the door and keep you germ free, Nick enjoys Punkdisco and the White Stripes, Mark finds a man on a jet-powered shopping bike. Remember...
