I got a pss-170 when I was about 12 years old from Miami when I went to visit my dad. That was around 1988. I got rid of it a couple years later, and just now got a pss270. Its everything I remembered about my old board. Wow, this thing brings back memorys! They just don't make them like this any more!

Ive had my pss 270 for a very long time and it is still as solid as it was new and the sounds are as cool as Doogie Houser! but seriously if you use outboard effects it can generate some cool bass sounds. good synth for electro-punk or devo-ish leads. perfect for the kids too, its rugged and easy to understand. If you see one at a yard sale buy it!..

One of my first keyboards (the other was a PSS130) and for what it was, it was cool. It used an FM generater and it had some cool effects on it. It's been 10 years since mine died, though, but I miss it. I used to run it through a distortion box, then a delay pedal for some nice sounds.
