I bought this keyboard for my kids when they were small(young), they are grown now and I am using it. I love it. I think some people like twiglet should chill and stop insulting people's choices. My keyboard is about 12 years old and works just as good as it did when it was new.

Got this form a charity shop along with the pss 51 for £8 in total. its got some nice sounds (3 electric piano 1, 88 crystal, 68 sine wave)and the arp is good. If your in to circuit bending this isn't the best choice but I found a couple of decent bends in its circuits. This is also pretty hardy as keyboards go as soon as I got it out of the box I dropped it and I didn't find no problems at all. The most annoying thing is that the tempo isn't numbered in BPM which can be a pain when working with anything like a drum machine.

I just purchased mine from E-bay. It has some great sounds when you add a flanger and delay. The Sine wave and HomeSaw sounds have a real synth filter sound to them. And the portamento, get effect, and to think the one on my old arp is broken. Even the drum machine through delay sound cool, kind of like that song da, da, da. I think a great little keyboard, oh did my mention the CS-80 string, all for cheap on Ebay.

Nowadays it's cheap. It is a portable that plays sounds that inspires music, they make me play absort. I love some of its sounds: 03 electric piano1(unique!!); 77 raindrop; 15; 11; 17;vibraphone; music box; sine wave; inverse; celesta, etc...). They're original, warm, deep and thick (if you amplifie it) but a bit noizzzzy, not realistic. It has the portamento, its a very nice effect. Maybe volume pedal, a tremolo, a delay, a noise gate compressor, etc will fit it. i don't like its rhythm section i'd like to have more control over the sound, the vibrato and portamento, more effects in it. i think they are in the pss-380 or 390 which is his bigger brother: it has the same synth engine, same sounds, and is flexible. The y. pss-480 is only its cousin because the sounds are so different.
