On the Yamaha timeline stands that the PortaSound PSS-100 came out in 1989, not 1982. The PC-100 (first key lighting instrument) came out in 1982. (I own one - see it on my site at: http://www.informatik.fh-hamburg.de/~windle_c/TableHooters/index.html )

I love this Keyboard. It is my only Keyboard and I have had it for my entire life. Released in 1982 and using 630 voice variations this little old machine is still going. It is quite durable as I have smashed it, dropped it and taked it apart several times and it still works. My little nefew loves to walk around with it and smash it on the tile then play with it to get the neat demo music so he can dance to it. I love this machine and will continue to use it untill it breaks, which seems to be never. It is a fun little keyboard with recording funtions and some other jazz. Its a great keyboard that is perfect for starters or guys who just play around like me
