Got my EX7 about a year ago. Love the piano and big fat analogue sounds. Arpeggio is great to use. Keyboard action is way better than anything i have used before. Better than some weighted action boards I have used from Roland. I hate the spongey ones.Only grizzle is the sequencer is not the easiest to nut-out and the manuel might as well be written in arabic for all the sense it makes to me.

This thing is awesome after getting shot of my SY85 I tried roland and korgs but with the help of those great guys at ex5tech chose the ex7 ok a bit heavy to lug around compared to the CSX2 but wow its worth it, If you see one buy it, I even robbed my A3000 of the scsi port to pump some new sounds into it and yes it is worth it. Anyone want an a3000 HD fitted 128MB ram 8 output with digital PS no scsi board Oh and thanks to Derek Cook.

i,ve read some of the views for the yamaha ex7. its a wonderful machine, i agee with squeak from the usa that it must be respected as it has exceptoinal sound quality and should not be regarded as a play thing! i am amater but love to explore the ex7 i only wish the manual was more user friendly. karoly

This is a wonderful synth and more than worthy to carry on the legacy started with the legendary Dx7. What technology can do. this baby blows its predessor away. 1,000 times more sonic power and versatility. The onboard sequencer is a joy to use. And some very fat analogue sounds can be pulled out of the EX7.
IMO, it is better than the good but overhyped Korg Triton. And produce tigther warmer bass sounds. And with the price being at least 30% less than the triton this is the best one to go for.
